QuikRead ® CRP Leads the Way in GP Surgery Testing

A European study into reducing antibiotic prescriptions (the GRACE trial) opted to use the QuikRead CRP system as the method of obtaining rapid (less than 4 minutes) results for CRP in the doctor's surgery.

Using a rapid CRP result to assess the need for antibiotic therapy or referral for secondary care is now being incorporated into policy in The Netherlands, with QuikRead poised to e the system of choice for many doctors.

Clean Card ® PRO Cleans Up

A study in Helsinki comparing the CleanCard Pro system with the accepted standard ATP test, concluded that whilst the two methods were largely consistent in terms of the results obtained, the CleanCard Pro was easier to use with the ATP assay being more susceptible to issues of sample collection.
